Intro to Layout Website Project

Day One

I opened up InDesign to start working on my recreation of a website. It took me a while to select a website because I was so indecisive on which one to pick. Finally, I finally found the one I wanted - Nautical Bowls. I located the website, and I kept the page open.

Day Two

This is when I started adding the website into InDesign. I used 3 sections, formating these sections and deciding where to overlap the website to make it look clean.

Day Three

Once the website was in place, I started on my first layer which is all white. Once that was done, I did the second layer, adding the light blue.

Day Four

I worked on the third layer by adding the white, round-edged boxes. I worked on the fourth layer by adding the photos of the bowls and the flavors of the sorbet. I also worked on the fifth layer by adding small round-edged boxes to place the text into it. The sixth layer contains all of the text. I spent a lot of time trying to find the correct fonts.

Day Five

I ended up researching what text font that Nautical Bowls uses: Poppins and Open Sans. There fonts are custom made. I used: Poppins, Open Sans, and Eternals Universe.
